Congratulations GTi International 2011

Milltek Sport, manufacturer of World-class performance exhaust systems, attended GTI International 2011 at Bruntingthorpe over the weekend of the 25-26 June and would like to congratulate Autometrix (publisher of Audi Driver and Volkswagen Driver magazines) on a truly excellent show.

Despite a rather damp and dreary day on Saturday, this year's GTI International turned out to be possibly the best ever, with a glorious hot, dry and sunny day on Sunday helping to draw in a record attendance.

With a huge turnout in the Show 'n' shine and Concours contests, over 1500 runs plus a Top-10 Shootout and Tuner Challenge on the quarter-mile Sprint track, the UK debut of the new Golf GTI Edition 35 from Germany, return of the handling course and a spectacular BMX bike display arranged by event sponsor Revo Technik, as well as all the usual attractions, including on-site camping, a great time was had by all of the many thousands of visitors.

Milltek brought along some of their best Volkswagen products as well as showings of their 350bhp Volkswagen Golf R, a heavily-modified Volkswagen Golf Mk5 GTi, Volkswagen Scirocco GT 2.0 TSi and the AmDMilltekRacing.com BTCC Golf Race Car.

Milltek always look forward to seeing their products in action at shows and GTi International 2011 featured a vast number of Milltek-equipped cars. They received some great feedback directly from customers and were able to provide information and advice in return.
